Control erythrocytes

Control erythrocytes are bird erythrocytes, not sensitized with antigens.

They are used for passive hemagglutination tests as a control reagent, adding of which does not cause hemagglutination even if the antibodies to Treponema pallidum are present.

Both test and control erythrocytes have high stability.
